Description
The TrickleStar® 7-Outlet Advanced PowerStrip (APS) provides premium fireproof surge protection and helps eliminate standby power wasted by computer and television peripherals. The TrickleStar® APS works on a simple control/energy saving basis. When the control device, typically a TV or computer, is on, the energy saving outlets will have power and the devices plugged into them can be used. When the control device is turned off (or goes into a power-saving mode), the devices plugged into the energy saving outlets automatically turn off and stop drawing standby power. This not only reduces the user's electric bill but also puts money back in their pocket.

Please note, this strip includes 7 total outlets consisting of 1 control outlet, 2 always-on outlets and 4 switched outlets. The switched outlets will only power-on when the main device is turned on.

Flexible Outlet Options
This TrickleStar® Advanced PowerStrip model offers 2 always-on outlets for devices that you do not want turning off automatically. The remaining outlets consist of 1 control outlet and 4 switched outlets. The device in the control outlet must be on to turn on the devices in the switched outlets. When the device in the control outlet turns off, so do the devices in the switched outlets. Save energy and money without trying!

- Always On: DVR
*Gaming consoles without hard disk drives (HDDs) can be plugged into the switched outlets. Gaming consoles with HDDs need to be plugged into the always-on outlets.
